MIRAGE

It rained like a wide fire
Too dark was I too be seen
Anxiety rain beneath my feet
Scared was I too soon

The night seems endless
So far from the end
The rain seems helpless
Up and down I was drench

She appeared like a ghost in my dream
Tormenting me till I shriek
Flattened was my body to the ground
Lips quiver in fear

Humming was the sound in the yard
Race was my heart in the hooch
Tormented my soul had become
I ran till kingdom come

She flies in the sky like a bat
Catching up unto me
Darting me till I fall
Crying was I begging for my soul

I woke up sweating profusely
Panting like I was in a Marathon
Dusted in the test of my mirage
So scared to close my eye
